Lathe EMCO Emcomat 17 S

The Emcomat 17S lathe impresses with its versatility and robust design, ideal for precise turning work in the workshop. It offers a center width of 700 mm and a center height of 170 mm, which enables flexible machining of a wide variety of workpieces. With a rotation diameter of 340 mm above the bed and 190 mm above the cross slide, it is versatile in use. The longitudinal slide has a travel of 600 mm, while the cross slide has a travel of 220 mm and the top slide a travel of 110 mm.

The main spindle of the Emcomat 17S is equipped with a CAMLOCK DIN 55029 S5 spindle nose and a spindle bore of 50 mm, which ensures high stability and precision. The face plate diameter and chuck diameter are both 200 mm, while the spindle speeds vary between 55 and 2,350 rpm, which is ideal for different machining requirements. The powerful 3.2 kW drive motor offers versatile feed options: Longitudinal feeds from 0.045 to 0.787 mm/rev and face feeds from 0.023 to 0.406 mm/rev.

The Emcomat 17S is also ideally suited for thread cutting, with a wide range of metric, imperial and modular threads. The tailstock has a quill diameter of 50 mm, an MK 3 internal taper quill and a quill stroke of 120 mm. With a total weight of 725 kg and compact dimensions of 1650 x 1060 x 1290 mm, the machine is both stable and space-saving. It is designed for an electrical connection of 400 V/3 PE/50(60) Hz and has a maximum sound pressure level of 79 dB(A).
